I was hired by Aerotek for a Production Team Member (PTM) position with Volkswagen in September 2011 and was assigned to the Paint Shop. During the training process, I was selected to work Paint Internal Quality (QRK). I worked on the White Shift Finesse line for three months and was then moved to the Paint Inspection Light Tunnel on BA7 in Assembly. In April 2012, I was hired as a Volkswagen Production Team Member and continued working on BA7 until I moved to the QRK Rover position in August 2012. This position required that I be trained and efficient in every QRK pitch in both Paint and Assembly, including corrosion inspection, recording and presentation of Paint and Body defects, and the ability to problem solve paint defects. In April 2013, I completed my MBA with an HR Concentration and applied for an open Employee Relations Specialist position. I was hired as the Employee Relations Specialist for Assembly White Shift and filled that role until September 2014, when I was assigned to the Skilled Team Members and became the Volkswagen Manpower liaison for the Aerotek Variable Workforce.
